Story Songs are stories with music. Based on true stories (A New Way to Play, Crippen’s Last Request) or classic tales (The Tell-Tale Heart - coming soon!).

A Tell-Tale Heart

Edgar Allan Poe’s classic story of murder and madness… just right for Halloween! I performed this at The Early Bird in Woodstock on October 24. Here’s a sneak peek.

A New Way to Play

She thought she was creating a new style of online games… but some trolls took offense. She gets doxed and has to go into hiding.

Web 2.0 discovers its magic.

Part One of New Way to Play.

New Way to Play Part Two. Gamesters attack her online. She didn’t realize she’d be “Forced Out”.

Crippen’s Last Request

1910. Scotland Yard is stymied by a murder.. until new wireless tech intervenes.

Crippen's Last Request is a "true crime" Story Song based on the sensational murder case of Dr. Hawley Crippen, convicted and executed in 1910 for the murder of his wife. Marconi's wireless ship-to-shore technology played a big role  in Crippen's arrest at sea.

Crippen is led off the SS Montrose after his arrest.

Cables break and towers fall, wireless flies above it all

Will Dew catch Crippen? Will Crippen land and escape? Who is Crippen’s “Comely Companion”?

Hello Dr. Crippen, I’m Chief Inspector Dew. I’m here to arrest you for the murder of your wife.
